Al Jazeera's Fault Lines releases documentary about Israel's months-long detention of Dr Abu Safiya

A new documentary has been released about Israel's imprisonment of Doctor Hussam Abu Safiya, the pediatrician and director of a hospital in northern Gaza.

Abu Safiya was detained on December the 27th, when Israeli forces raided the Kamal Adwan Hospital. His lawyer has repeatedly said he is being tortured and held in solitary confinement. In March, an Israeli court upheld the paediatrician's detention without charge for another six months. Through first-hand testimony, archival footage and on-the-ground reporting, Al Jazeera's Fault Lines team has investigated Doctor Abu Safiya’s unlawful detention.
